Second edition · Open for partners

Partner with the second edition.

A CHILD in Us: The Creative Thinking Handbook is going into its second edition — with a new chapter, an audiobook, a course, and a measurement programme behind it. Partners appear in the book, in the campaign, and alongside the CHILD Framework wherever it’s taught.

A small, deliberately limited programme. Eight partners across three tiers, one per category at the top, and every placement is permanent in print.

What a partner is actually buying

Not advertising space in a book. Three things, and the third is usually the one that gets the spend approved.

Association

Proximity to creativity, education and the future of work — a category most brands find hard to enter credibly and expensive to fake.

Access

Readers, workshop rooms, university audiences, and everyone who completes CHILDex. Named institutions, not vanity reach figures.

Assets

Something concrete to point at internally — a printed page, a named chapter, a CSR impact report. The part that makes the spend easy to justify.

Partnership tiers

Eight placements in total. Once a tier fills, it closes for this edition.

Human Stories Partner

$7,500

Two partners

Built around the new Human Stories chapter — your organisation studied as a real account of how a hard problem actually got solved, not an advertisement dressed as a case study.

50 copies of the second edition

  • Logo on the partners page in the front matter
  • Full story in the Human Stories chapter — your innovation account, researched and written
  • Named on the acknowledgements page
  • Logo on achildinus.com and in the site footer
  • Credited in the audiobook
  • Included in launch PR and social campaigns
  • Framework merchandise pack

Supporting Partner

$1,000

Five partners

The straightforward entry: your mark in the book, on the site, and in the acknowledgements. Low friction, fast to approve, and still permanent in print.

15 copies of the second edition

  • Logo on the partners page in the front matter
  • Named on the acknowledgements page
  • Listed on achildinus.com
  • Mentioned in launch announcements
  • Framework merchandise for your team

All figures in USD. Placements are for the second edition and its full campaign cycle; digital placements continue for as long as the edition is in print. Tiers can be combined with the CSR route below.

New in the second edition

Human Stories

The second edition adds a chapter that the first one needed and didn’t have: real accounts of people and organisations solving problems they had never solved before, read against the five traits of the framework.

Partner organisations are the source material. Not a logo dropped into a case-study template — an actual account of what the problem was, who asked the question nobody else was asking, and what it took to get from there to a working answer. Researched and written the same way the rest of the book is.

It is the most valuable placement on this page, and the reason the top two tiers exist. A logo is seen once. A story gets taught.

Where the money goes

Partnership funds the programme around the book, not the printing of it. Six lines, in order of weight.

Promotion & campaigns

Paid and organic campaigns behind the book, the framework and CHILDex, across the fourteen markets where the book is already available.

Audiobook, YouTube & the course

Recording and releasing the audiobook, launching a YouTube channel around the framework, and building the first CHILD Framework course — three formats that reach people who will never buy a paperback.

Public relations

A structured PR programme — press, podcasts, features and speaking placements, rather than one-off announcements.

Maturing CHILDex

Turning the free assessment into a real product: rebuilt scoring, shareable results, demographic instrumentation, and the data spine the Creative Thinking Index depends on.

Technology & infrastructure

Platform upgrades, performance, analytics and the systems needed to run an assessment at volume rather than at demo scale.

Research & publishing

Preparing and submitting a peer-reviewed paper on the framework and the CHILDex instrument — the step that moves it from a model to a citable one.

IP & compliance

Trademark, licensing and rights work so the framework can be taught, certified and used by others without ambiguity.

Merchandise

Producing the CHILDISM range and framework merchandise — the pieces that carry the idea into rooms the book doesn’t reach, and that partners receive first.

Why this compounds

Partnership funds promotion → promotion drives sales and CHILDex completions → completions produce data → data produces the Creative Thinking Index → the Index earns citations, coverage and institutional interest → which makes the next edition worth more to every partner in it.

A partner in this edition is buying into year one of something with a second year. That is a different proposition from an advertisement, and it is the honest description of what is being built.

Corporate Social Responsibility

The CSR route

A separate instrument from sponsorship, and for many organisations an easier internal approval: buy copies of the second edition and put them where they do the most good.

Copies are distributed to high schools, colleges, public libraries and community programmes — institutions named by you or selected jointly. Every copy carries a donor plate crediting the sponsoring organisation.

You receive a distribution report listing every institution reached, with photographs and acknowledgements, in a form that goes directly into a CSR filing or annual review.

This can stand alone, or sit alongside any tier above. Organisations with CSR budgets that can’t fund sponsorship can almost always fund books.

  • 100 copiesOne school or college library programme
  • 250 copiesA district-level distribution across several institutions
  • 500+ copiesA state-level or multi-city programme, with named institutions

Eight placements. One edition.

If this fits what your organisation wants to be associated with, the next step is a conversation — not a form. Gaurav Yadav handles partnership directly, and will send the full deck after a first call.
